For the oncoming 2011 year elections of tamilnadu DMK and its key ally Congress on Tuesday finalised on the 63 constituencies to be contested by the national party for the April 13 assembly elections, amid indications by the Congress about possible power-sharing in case the combine won.


As per the sources from congress party of tamilnadu, the total seats for this 2011 elections may include many sitting seats of the past assemly polls.

SARATH KUMAR
He deserted DMK after refusing to play second fiddle to the Marans. He floated the AISMK and has a considerable sway over the mercantile Nadar community in south Tamil Nadu

VIJAY
A heartthrob of the youth, he wanted to join the Congress but did not do so under pressure allegedly from the DMK. He joined the AIADMK after the release of his recent movie faced problems.
