Tamilnadu Government Announces 3600 Crores Thermal Power Plant
Tamilnadu Government announced that a new 600 MW coal fired electricity generation station would come up at the site of the Ennore Thermal Power Station, in North Chennai, by 2015.
Proposed by the Tamilnadu Governmen The high tech power plant, to be built at a cost of INR 3,600 crore, would pave the way for the retirement of the old 450 MW ETPS.
